fractal系列帶我們突破畫框，將靜物畫中那一個個花盆、杯子、餐碟，全部捧出來，放在面前。陶器由已有700年歷史的美濃燒名窯「兵山窯」製作，採用名為「梅花皮（かいらぎ）」的傳統技法，善用陶土和化妝土不同的收縮率，令器物表面呈現獨特釉裂紋理，就似在歐洲古蹟建築中，那些經過風化後出現龜裂紋的石雕，有種古典的吸引力。

黑色梅花皮卻有獨特的金屬黑光澤，邊緣位置更微微透出銹紅，予人一種厚重的高級感。水杯形狀獨特又常會用到，適合用來飲咖啡或茶，只要擺上fractal系列，餐桌好像就自然變成一幅油畫。
