無垢木材收納盒由多種無垢木材組裝而成，盒身不同位置均使用不同種類的木材，包括絲柏、木蘭、紅雪松、白蠟木、橡木和樟樹。由日本主要從事漆器重箱和托盤等「角物」木地製作的工匠製作，組裝時具有如此高度的精確度，以至於乍看之下看起來像一塊木頭。

工匠們還積極使用具有木節、裂縫、粗糙樹皮和不均勻著色的木材，通常被放棄的木材，這些都是工匠們認為獨一無二的表情。

Description

“WOODS BOX” assembled from several solid woods. Different woods are used on all sides, including hiba, magnolia, red cedar, ash, oak and katsura. It is made by craftsmen who produce mainly wooden square shape box or tray before lacquering called “Kakumono”, and is assembled with such a high degree of precision that it appears at first glance to be a block of wood. They also actively use wood with knots, splits, rough bark and uneven colouring, which would normally be impossible to use, as they consider them to be unique.
